During this project, I explored and used at least 12 tools; the edge tool for lightening areas and creating deeper contrast, the brush tool for adding shadows, color, and highlights, the spot healing brush tool for melding the skin to the mask, the blur tool to soothe the face to the mask, the history brush tool for restoring hair, the eyedropper tool for mimicking certain pigments, the darken tool under the brush tool to create shadows, the small brush hardness tool for eyebrow and hair details, the pan tool for moving the photo, the opacity toggle under brush tool to highlight and shadow areas gently, the eraser tool for highlighting and the crop tool for cropping.
